Wooden Boat (10876 bytes)

Spend the day floating the riffles
and currents of western Michigan's
finest streams in a unique classic
wooden drift boat.

Good time (41158 bytes)

You are invited to float with me and experience western Michigan's finest rivers, including the Manistee, the Pine, the Pere Marquette, and the Muskegon.

You'll glide down sun drenched riffles of hammered silver as we float through cathedrals of white pine. You'll have a chance to hook up with charging steelhead or a deep sounding browns, and then feel the exhilaration of returning the wild trout back to the river.

Michigan is noted for the diversity of its fishing and western Michigan rivers give you the full spectrum. You can fish for steelhead with nymphs and streamers on a sink-tip line, or cast to rising rainbow, brook, and brown trout during a variety of insect hatches. When there is no hatching activity, dead-drifting a nymph can work wonders, and the summer months bring excellent terrestrial fishing to the well-prepared angler. For the fisherman who appreciates small streams, the headwaters can produce brook trout that will put rose dappled spots before your eyes.
