DIALUP NUMBER CHANGE INFORMATION

Notes:
1. Assume 'single click' unless it says 'double click'.
2. Assume 'left mouse button' is used unless it says 'right mouse button'.

Windows 95 and Windows 98:
1. Double click on "My Computer" and open it then double click on "Dial Up Networking" and open it.
2. Your surf-ICI internet connection should be labeled as "surf-ICI" or "My Connection" or similar.
     Click on it with your right mouse button, then click on "Properties" with your left mouse button.
3. Click to the right of the telephone number that is presently shown.  Use your backspace key and back
     over the 713-1332 or 713-1333 (Note: If you have "*70," listed in the phone number field, make sure
     that you leave it.  This is what disables your call waiting while you are on line).
4. Type in 396-0319 (The "-" is not required, it is up to you whether you want to see it or not).
5. Click on OK.  Close all open windows back to your desktop.

Windows 2000:
1. Click on the "Start Button", then click on "Settings", and then click on "Control Panel".
2. Double click on "Network and Dialup Connections" and open it.
3. Your surf-ICI internet connection should be labeled as "surf-ICI" or "My Connection" or similar.
     Click on it with your right mouse button, then click on "Properties" with your left mouse button.
4. Click to the right of the telephone number that is presently shown.  Use your backspace key and back
     over the 713-1332 or 713-1333 (Note: If you have "*70," listed in the phone number field, make sure
     that you leave it.  This is what disables your call waiting while you are on line).
5. Type in 396-0319 (The "-" is not required, it is up to you whether you want to see it or not).
6. Click on OK.  Close all open windows back to your desktop.

Windows XP:
1. Click on the "Start Button", then click on "Control Panel".
2. Look for "Network Connections".  If you don't see it, click on the blue text on the top left side
     that says "Switch to Classic View".
3. Double Click on "Network Connections" and open it.
4. Click (once) on surf-ICI or whatever you have designate the connection as.
5. On the far left (Network Tasks), click on "Change Settings of this Connection".
6. Click to the right of the telephone number that is presently shown.  Use your backspace key and back
     over the 713-1332 or 713-1333 (Note: If you have "*70," listed in the phone number field, make sure
     that you leave it.  This is what disables your call waiting while you are on line).
7. Type in 396-0319 (The "-" is not required, it is up to you whether you want to see it or not).
8. Click on OK.  Close all open windows back to your desktop.
