Hello. I moved to Prescott from San Diego in late August to attend college here. I used
to be very involved in Mt. Biking, but have recently strayed way from it and am interested
in getting back into it. Do you know of any bike clubs groups in the area that I could
check out? If not, do you know of anyone who would? Thank you.

Hi There!
We are planning a winter (probably December) bicycle tour through Arizona. We'd like to
cycle west to east through Arizona across the Continental Divide to Interstate 25 in New
Mexico. Could you suggest a route we could take?
We appreciate it! Jim clearwaterno smamhumboldt.net
Some friends and I are planning a transcontinental ride next spring. We plan to cross
Arizona via Needles/Lake HavasuCity/Parker/Wickenburg/Prescott/Sedona/Flagstaff/ Winslow
and on to Gallup. I have a couple of questions that, perhaps, you can help with: 1. We are
planning to go from Wickenburg to Prescott via US93/SH97/SH96. Is this a good bike route
vs.Hwy 89? 2. From Prescott to Flagstaff, it appears that 89A is the most direct (and
perhaps only) bike route. Any input here? 3. This year, the temperatures in the area
during the 2nd week in April were in the high 60's/low 70's. Is this the norm? Any chance
of snow showers at the higher elevations? 4. Any thoughts about any of the other AZ
sections we plan to ride? Thanks, in advance, for your feedback.

Well here it goes, I have a simple question, but here's the deal. Starting Nov 1 I'm
going to be riding my bike from Ls Vegas NV to Austin TX. I'm going to come 93 S thru
Kingman into Phoenix and then out of Phoenix into NM by way of the 60. I know that
Prescott isn't really on that route, but you guys seem to be bikers and I thought I'd pick
your brain as to any recommendations you would have for cheap lodging, places to avoid,
just a general opinion about the ride, or a few words of Arizona encouragement. I figure
that the more help I can get from fellow bikers the better.
If you could give me a heads up about any of this or who better to contact, I would
REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks a million for your time!!
