Our E-Mail Server provides safe and reliable E-Mail accounts that are not subject to the size limitations and hazards plaguing other services.  While there are plenty of places where you can get free E-Mail accounts, we provide Business Quality POP3 Mailboxes that you can rely on for your serious business and personal use. 

E-Mail Accounts can be accessed by using any standard E-Mail program such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.  When traveling, messages can be accessed from anywhere in the world.  The only requirement is a computer or phone with Internet access.  This is achieved by simply visiting our WebMail page and typing in your account username and password.

Additional E-Mail address

Included with every Dialup Access Account is one E-Mail Account. Additional E-Mail Accounts may be purchased.  Multiple E-Mail addresses can optionally be combined into a single  mailbox.

E-Mail Only Accounts

E-Mail accounts are sold separately from our other services.  If you access the Internet  from another provider such as your cable company, you can still enjoy the benefits of having E-Mail Only accounts on our server.  Our E-Mail server does not care how or where you are accessing the Internet.  It is not necessary  to purchase a full Internet Dialup Account just to have an E-Mail account with us.

E-Mail Accounts Using Your Domain Name

E-Mail accounts can be set up using your own domain name.  E-Mail Accounts may even be set up as a wildcard address. Messages sent  to anyone @ yourdomain.com will be combined into a single mailbox.  Many businesses use this method to appear much larger than they are by publishing addresses such as sales@ or service@ or info@ when they are actually all going to the same mailbox.

SPAM Filtering

SPAM (unwanted advertising messages) is the biggest problem on the Internet.  We have one of the best SPAM filters around.  Our SPAM filtering server was first implemented in 1997.  We were one of the early pioneers in the fight against SPAM.  Our SPAM filter is a product of constant evolution using many different filtering methods and artificial intelligence.  Our goal is to weed out (reject) unwanted messages while letting desirable messages pass through.  When we reject a message as SPAM, we include an error message explaining the reason for the rejection within the bounced message. We are always interested in improving our filter by studying messages that should or should not get through.  This would not be possible without quality feedback from our customers.  Our SPAM filter has also been utilized to block viruses by using key words or phrases when a virus is first discovered.  Virus outbreaks can be blocked during the critical time period before the AntiVirus companies publish updated virus definitions.  Our SPAM filter is an option which can be turned on or off for each E-Mail account or domain.  While it is not possible to block all the SPAM without being too restrictive, and also blocking good messages, we are able to block about 85% of the SPAM that would otherwise wind up in your mailbox.

Virus Filtering

One of the most common ways that people get viruses on their computers is through E-Mail.  In 1999 we implemented one of the first available programs to scan all inbound messages for viruses.  Since then, our Virus Scanner has blocked millions of messages infected with viruses that were bound for our users.  Today we typically trap one E-Mail virus out of every fifty messages received.  If a message contains a virus, our server will strip out the virus and forward the message on through with a warning message.  While our E-Mail Virus Scanner blocks viruses within E-Mail, it is no substitute for a good, updated AntiVirus program on your computer.
